with regard to the far bank at Uckinghall, the combination of a narrow and high bank with the hedge directly behind,
made it very hard to fish. I did try it, now that the bank is wider ,I think it will be easier to fish and people will use it
especially if there are platforms provided. I agree with comments about Bream and Tench, and yes the lilys are
a big problem. I do not know how hard it would to remove them or to cut them back, but if BAA will organise it I am
prepared to help. Maybe other members would join in to. Its a lovely place to fish, lets try and keep it that way.

Congrats to BAA on the new work restoring the bank. Great job!
Has anybody fished the pools at Apperley lately? Last time I was there, the water was incredibly green - must be some sort of algae. Has it changed and is it fishing well?
