Re: What would you pay for?

J.C.- Having watched some of Cyril Chauquet's exploits on Chasing Monsters, battling Sturgeon and Goliath Grouper, I'm still not sure whether he'd be ready yet for the challenge of Severn Stoke.

Re: What would you pay for?

We had 4 nights booked in at Bowler's Jurassic Mountain Resort in Thailand in November last year. Covid put a stop to that though. I'd always wanted a chance at catching massive siamese carp, arrapaima, amazon redtail catfish and chao phraya cats in those surroundings. Who knows, we may go at some point again!
J.C. - Some of my mates have done the Fraser River for Sturgeon a couple of times, it's an amazing experience, with incredible fishing in the most stunning surroundings. I've been invited along on them, the current Mrs H is okay with me having the occasional long weekend on the Trent with them but 10 days in Canada is a different proposition.

Re: Lost glasses at Severn Stoke

Thanks for that. Didn't get very far, this is the start of the lane down to the car park! Might have to wait a few more days before going backsmiling

Re: Looking for advice on buying a Bivvy

Have a look at the Sonik SKTec bivvy, I did a lot of research into budget bivvies for overnighters on the Tidal Trent, and chose this one. Can't fault it for the money, a quality bit of kit! There's a few videos on youtubesmiling
