Some of you guys really give anglers a bad name.
A member decided he couldn't be bothered to take home his broken brolly, together with cans and bread wrapper.

It's a shame but it happens all the while I'm sorry to say, all you can do is take it home yourself if we want to keep our venues litter free.

Also its not just anglers, during lockdown people was getting out sitting by the rivers and leaving rubbish behind etc, some bad cases for example in Shrewsbury with this.

Re: Rubbish Nordley.

Litter is worse than normal this summer, due to the reasons already stated, and "anglers" fishing who don't usually fish, but are doing so post lockdown to escape. Unfortunately, they have zero respect for the outdoors. On a commie this Saturday, I spent 10 mins clearing corn and meat cans before we started our match, a disgrace.

As I've said on other forums, I'll be glad when it's winter, and all these "anglers" have buggered off.

I've witnessed more litter too. I've had to clear two disposable face masks from BAA car parks along the Avon in the past two weeks. Not pleasant, but not things to let lie around. We must all ensure we uphold the good name of the Association. Beats me why anyone has to fish in a face mask !!!
