Fencing gone but all too late ... rush job done, bankside ruined, total eyesore. A shameful example of complete and utter disregard for our countryside.

Any chance of the BAA asking that the fencing be removed as there is no chance of doing the work in the forseable future?

The work was supposed to have started in September 2019 and then was due to finish Jan 2020. The winter floods put paid to that. It would, however, been a far better plan to plant a thin strip of trees some 5 - 10m back from the water's edge to provide long lasting bank stability.

Over 400lb of fish rescued from Worcester Racecourse - included pike, carp, chub, etc. Well done the EA!

Yep sounds good. I panic bought a new rod and reel (just in case there was an upsurge in fishing) so I'm in self isolation down the canal away from the wife and kids.
