Some good points made.
Would most river anglers stay any longer than one or two nights night fishing in the same peg? If they have a full season night permit they know they can return anytime, i've had enough after one full days fishing 
The rules and price etc would be for our club to decide and i guess locations are already the places where single night fishing permits can be used now.

Thanks for your reply, i know some landowners dont want night fishing and it would only be aloud on certain stretches, but even if BBA trialled a full night fishing permit for a season just to see how it went ?
I have also heard suggestions that have been made to just end all night fishing with no single night permits on any permitted stretches, i dont think thats the right direction to take and just takes the pleasure away from genuine BBA members. Illegal fishing will still carry on and infact it could make it even easier for them with no members around. It wont stop illegal fishing.

Lately i've been seeing posts on social media about some problems with people either night fishing or staying later than the permitted hour after dusk.
I know some BBA stretches alow night fishing via permits but as i understand these need purchasing days well in advance, if the club did a full season night fishing permit im sure it would be well received.
This in turn might help with this growing problem and in itself have the bonus of members keeping an eye on the club water, ie help slow or deter illegal fishing acts ?
This probably has been posted in the past, but just a wonder how fellow members feel and also the club ?

One i was told last week by a fellow BBA angler while fishing, he caught two chaps putting caught fish in a plastic bag. He did confront them and off they went. Not sure how true the story but he seemed genuine about the whole incident.
