Re: arley right bank parking

I've never had an issue in 10+ times of parking in the proper carpark.

I've only seen BAA members get charged if they continue on through and out the far end of the carpark into the big field.

I sometimes drive into the field to drop my stuff and return the car back to the car park without charge.

Re: baa d'anglers a.c nordley match.

Dear club committee.

Apologies if I have misinterpreted something.

Reading through the thread again, if i'm not mistaken, you appear to have made this an 'open match' to ALL BAA members (even if they didn't put their name & card number down to form the club).

I'm all for confirming who's coming a few days before and if there's spare fishable pegs left you could open it up to other BAA 'guests' that aren't in the club, but this thread was started 5 weeks before the match.

Is this a club policy (1st come 1st served), potentially pushing out original members? I'm not saying that it's wrong. I'm simply trying to understand, and it may be what the club members want?

This is a genuine innocent friendly question, asked with the best and positive intentions to avoid any potential misunderstanding.

A question for Stew please. Thanks for the info on the venue. You say that there are 19 pegs/platforms, some tight with overhanging trees & weed issues. How many of those 19 pegs would you be happy to fish please?

Re: the b.a.a. forum d'anglers a.c. is born !

Bin... we are now on the same page. I didn't want anyone thinking there was proper 'off-road' parking behind your peg on the whole of Ribbesford. Yes you can park on the road for some of the top half, but you can't do that for ANY of the bottom half.
When I went in search of the bottom bream pegs last year, I was surprised how long the walk was from the top of the football club and how dodgy many of the pegs were, especially from the 2nd pitch down, because 20+ years ago I used to access the bottom end from another layby that's not there now & blocked off since extending the football club.

Stew - Just in case you don't re-read my post above, I've updated it with some further info and a screen shot picture.
