A lot of heavy rain last night and rain today (Tuesday), river has come up over some platforms ( 1ft below platform 1), river looks a lot cleaner. Some dace and chub caught today.

Rain in the last 23 hours has freshened up the river, most dead small fish have floated away just leaving some large perch/Barbel/ Chub jammed in Rushes. Some carp seen as well as Kingfisher, Moorhen, Mallards and Swan. Some more rain forcast then I will give it a dabble.

Perhaps I have been a bit too negative it has been a really crap week, coupled with a lack of sleep. A lot of the dead fish have floated away and the ducks are becoming more normal as the stink deminishes, more fry are seen and reports of more carp. Rain is forecast,( hopefully no violent storms) which will help to freshen up the water.
