Re: Charlton weirThe weir is a good walk from the second car park. We could do with a car park up by the weir. There are barbel all along the stretch just a mater of putting the time in

Re: Reliable bream fishingThing I find with the Avon generally it needs to be carrying a bit of water for the bream to show. Re: BAA Match ResultsFair play to the clubs that do take the time to post their results seems folk want info but others just dont or wont pass information on. The forum is what we as members make it so come on guys if you have been out fishing good or bad take the time to post

Re: match fishingProblem is they have become the best venues regarding access so clubs want to book them with the ageing river fraternity you cant blame them for that whats needed is better access and more A* venues. You have Charlton and Chropthorne right next to Fladbury which is a much better venue but its hardly fished due to access. If the BAA could rejuvenate this venue with better parking and access and parking by the weir it would be one hell of a venue.
