You have to be a idiot to put barbel in keepnets.l know from previous experiences when I was much younger fishing the Trent.That using keepnets in the summer as you mention john was a death sentence for barbel.Sadly I learned the hard way and I will never put a barbel in a keepnet again
It was the previous post that mentioned the weed Tracker I had my tackle with me to fish these pools but pool 2 just didn't look right and pool 1 had 6 other anglers fishing so went elsewhere nearby
