Re: £200 plus for a days fishing - Are you mad? Spent a few hours at a local pool yesterday (3 miles away) and got talking to someone I see there regularly. Re: Something new at retreat. Yes the owner has done this. I met him last Saturday, he arrived just as I was starting to pack up. Says he has trouble with people camping and leaving litter etc. As you say he is a very nice person, I mentioned BAA rules give us until one hour after sunset, he`s not very happy with this and said he would prefer a little earlier, about 9.00 at this time of year (sunset). I also mentioned I am normally last to leave but haven`t seen or had any trouble, I think it`s mainly along the river. As you have seen there are thousands of small Carp on the surface, I netted some to check as my first thought was - top mouth gudgeon. They are Carp. I have also been having some a few inches long, also a first on pool one, 3 small Tench and a small Chub, all in 45 minutes. Finished with two Carp, one just under 11lb and the other my best to date at 14 1/4lb. (weighed) See photos of small ones. Preparations are underway to safely reopen the visitor economy, including self-contained accommodation and outdoor attractions. A decision will be taken about this at the next review of the regulations on 9 July. You will not be able to take a holiday in Wales until any change to the law is made. If a change to the law is made it is likely to take effect on 13 July. Can I book holiday accommodation? You are able to make a forward booking for a stay that takes place after 13 July. However, this will only be able to be fulfilled if the anticipated change to the law is made. The Welsh Government will continue to monitor the public health position and there is a risk any booking made may be cancelled. Please speak with your accommodation provider for information about their cancellation policy. What kind of accommodation is being considered for re-opening? Accommodation without shared facilities – this is accommodation, which is entirely self-contained with kitchens and bathrooms that no other guests use. This includes self-catering cottages and apartments and caravans with their own bathroom facilities. Re: Forden back open I believe an announcement will be made July 6th with B & B s etc taking bookings for the 13th onwards. Should be OK from here. I believe an announcement will be made July 6th with B & B s etc taking bookings for the 13th onwards. Should be OK from here. I`ve booked in (provisionally) from 15th on the Towy where I fish (already lost April, May, June). Watch the news !!
