Had a look last Sunday afternoon. No anglers as far as I could see which surprised me. Can park behind a lot of pegs. I only looked upstream. River was very clear, almost like a chalkstream. Could see the river bed quite a way out.
Pretty weedy in most pegs. Lot of bankside overgrown now. Be prepared to bash down stingers/foliage on a lot of pegs.. Glad to hear fish been caught on an earlier posting.

Was at Arley for a couple of hours this afternoon.
Didn't see any signs of fish showing at all. River seemed lifeless.

You certainly wouldn't want to take a tumble in the dark. Same on most of the Severn with steep banks of a spate river.

A 98lb handsome Catfish, coming out of the darkness at night, on the eerie lower river.... I wouldn't sleep for months lol.
