i think banning unaccompanied day tickets has some merit, Through the summer you get a number people that dont really fish but turn out for a few beers and a BBQ, no ideas of fish care and leave a lot of litter. as people who might only visit once or twice a season they dont really care. Of course as has been said they are also the people that will turn up ticket or not.

Well done and thanks BAA, i fish it from time to time and it was getting quite tricky. Looks like a good job as well.

I can only assume its the landowner of the far bank. Not BAA and i doubt the EA but its possible, they do like to trash rivers and canals with their chainsaws given the chance.

Why on earth would they cut all the trees down on the far bank, i thought trees helped mitigate flooding as well as providing shelter and nest sites for birds and cover for fish.
It seems a very strange bit of, what to me is vandalism.

hi mate, yes thanks, that will be helpful. I did fish on the Friday, car park flooded, track to car park flooded river over the bank on the far side, just in our side but i blanked so might as well have stayed in bed lol
