Re: Repair to track at Salford priors

i know all the venues very well. esp salford and down to stubbs
Stu has said nothing we can do about the track to the river at salford.
the track to stubbs sometimes gets "graded" .
i do understand you don't want to damage your car but of all our fishing tracks salford possibly the worse. its ok when dry. and when wet you just have to remember when the deeper holes
not the best but not much we can do pal. sad

Re: Repair to track at Salford priors

dont think its fair to say venues we paying for but cant fish. as all our venues can be accessed via footpaths, Yes it nice to park right next to river and have a short walk. but we have miles and miles of river .
I love Cropthorne and thats 12 sections and only one "next to river" carpark. it a right old walk so soon learn to thin gear out.
We have some top fishing on the avon and severn that we don't have to walk far. but plenty that we do. yet for the amount we pay. its more than worth it smiling

Re: Repair to track at Salford priors

the next stretch after the BAA that was Lucas angling is Astwood bank angling club.
believe the caravan site has the rights on first meadow.
Then ABAC has the next 5 meadows down.

Re: Fladbury Weir

hi fella. yes its a very snaggy weir pool fladbury. its fairly shallow too.
but all those snags, old trees and metal pilings are a magnet for fish.
if you removed them.... you would make the fish move .
