Re: Cleave Prior I think the car park at meadows 1+2 safe, lots of dog walkers up that end. Im going to give it a go this year down by Stubbs on the river meadows 3-8 Apparently good bit of river thou never fished it because of the troublesome locals, park along bank too. Stubbs pool information please Thinking of giving Stubbs a go but no information on the ‘where to fish’ pages. Hopefully someone will say it’s great for tench with a float! Re: My biggest chub Hi peachy, wasn’t me you gave a float to, wish it was… as they seem to work!! You mentioned on a old post you were going to try some homemade 6-8grm avons at nafford a year ago or more, I did send you a email asking how you got on with them as I’m making floats myself! Been watching mark wintle on you tube, he makes his avons with hollow pole float tips 3-4mm, I’m doing the same with cane and alloy stems, would a 4-8 grm set be right for the deep water below Evesham?
