Re: Stacklands new pegsAs this stretch appears to be visited by the bailiff on a pretty regular basis, might it be a good idea to have the time anglers are expected to leave displayed on the fishing hut? - I have seen this used in fisheries such as the Royalty and it leaves no room for argument. These days it is easy to find up to date sunrise/sunset times.Might help to appease the obviously vigilant farmer and leave members in no doubt.

Re: Stacklands new pegsI agree Belsh. Has he made any financial gain from the fishery? If so, he should be more accommodating. Most anglers who visit this stretch will be reasonable folk - don't want to feel like you're continuously treading on eggshells!

Re: Twisted Hooklength on RiversI usually fish with 6lb floatfish main and a 12" Drennan hooklink - I think 5.7lb (I am hoping for the odd barbel!).

Re: Twisted Hooklength on RiversI use a micro swivel above the hooklength - suggested by Dave Harrel and works a treat.

Re: KNOWLE SANDSI think that in these low water conditions the fish are very heavily shoaled up.If you can find them I think you can catch them!
