I have now got all the Aggregate Placings, with our final Contest due to take place on 11th November 2023 on the B-W Canal at Stoke Works.

My thanks to bin for providing me with the details to account correctly the d’anglers that fished a contest, but Did Not Weigh, and our members that were absent due to holidays, illness or work, and therefore Did Not Fish.
I thank you all for making ALL our Contests a pleasure to d’angle.
To those of you that can attend the last contest on Saturday 11th November, then please reply to the post, as there is the Issac Walton Plate to be presented to the Contests Aggregate Winner after the Contest in the Stoke Prior Sports and Social Club, who will be allowing us d’anglers to Park our Vehicles on their Car Park!

Hello fellow b.a.a. forum d’anglers AC Members,
In 4 days time, our fifth and final contest for 2023 will take place, on SATURDAY 11th
Great News is that MEATMAN has Confirmed that will be Fishing!
Stew1955 aka John Kettley, the Weatherman, is Forecasting Cold-Windy but Dry Conditions!
So to those of our Club d’anglers yet to Confirm:- MG, can you let us know, as we would like you to be there if you can make it?
bin has kindly arranged our Vehicle Parking for us with the Management at the
Stoke Prior Sports and Social Club
Westonhall Road,
B60 4AL
It is a very large Car Park and from it gives us very easy access to the Canal Towpath.
We will be meeting at 08.00am
Draw at 08.30
Fishing from 09.30am to 14.30pm
With Meatman CONFIRMED we now have 14 CONTESTANTS as of Monday 6th November

The placings in this contest will decide who will become the FIRST WINNER of the ANNUAL AGGREGATE.
Who ever wins it will then take responsibility for the Care and safeguarding of the Issac Walton Plate, that is currently in the possession of STEW1955.

I have posted a brief report from our Contest in the Match Fishing Forum.
Thank you all for turning out for the Contest, I hope you all enjoyed the day, but how could we not!
It is a remarkable achievement that @89, Brian was / is still able to come out and enjoy his fishing on “Wild Water”, and Cheers to you Brian and your Son David for your generosity in letting us drink to your continued good health on your Birthday!

Hello my fellow b.a.a. forum AC d’anglers.
Firstly May I begin in thanking MrfishySNR-Brian who wanted to Celebrate his 89th Birthday with us by paying for all 16 of us that fished, to toast his health (at his expense) after the contest in the Hinksford Arms, Congratulations Brian and here is my wish that we see you on the waterside for ALL OUR CONTESTS in 2024!
Well we weighed in a Whopping Total of 10lb 05oz between sixteen of us!
Here are the Top Four who ALL caught in excess of One Pound!
1) Charliebigchub - 1lb 06oz 04dr - Mixed bag Chub, Roach, Perch
2) AGSWOLVES - 1lb 05oz - With a Perch of almost 1lb
Equal Third
3) Mork - 1lb 2oz 08dr - With a mixed bag of +30 bits
3) ROBHOL - 1lb 2oz 08dr - bag of Perch
A few boats went through, it looked good, weather was mostly dry,
we pegged from the Reedbed at the end of the Residential Caravan Park to the Moored up Boats.
