WALSALL AND DISTRICT A.S MANOR FARM WASPERTON Well the river looked absolutely perfect but unfortunately it fished really hard with no large fish showing at all. Re: Ladyham Not fished it for a couple of years now but its a lovely venue Dave As you come to the river pegs to the left are deeper and can be good for all fish including the odd big barbel and roach on the float banks can be a bit steep here and not the best unless they have been cut out. Pegs to the right are shallower and quicker you can see where the river changes. Pegs in the middle used to be ok in the summer with good banks and access and a couple of very fishy pegs at the end of the stretch. Tight lines pal let us know how you get on if you fish it. New venues Hi guys well its still bloody freezing and the rivers are all still banking, so ill be staying in for the enforceable until things improve. I know I've done this debate before but I cant remember the last time we did it so lets do it again. I remember when we first did it and there was an overwhelming response for a venue on the river Wye that the Baa came up trumps with. I remember asking the Baa guys at Evesham why the club didn't have a water on the Wye and they felt people wouldn't travel that far. Johnny its interesting to hear you say that the club may have a new stretch on the Avon I hope its West Hillsbourgh. I used to love that place when the WDAAS had it. Well for me ide love a water on the middle Trent. Not likely to happen I know as those good waters are like gold dust.
