Re: Fladbury BarbelI was also there on Friday, a few hours up until dark. No barbel for me that time though, but I also had a pike on the meat, about 7lb or so, and lost a couple of chub. the river had dropped 12 inches from Wednesday, and much of the colour had gone.

Re: What actually are the rules ?An hour after sunset.....I usually make a note of when sunset actually is, so I know when I'm allowed to fish to, but there are many who seem to take no notice of that rule at all, the worst that will happen is that they'll be asked to leave by a bailiff anyway.

Re: River Ankermate of mine fished it back in the summer, he had one nice chub I think. I've heard that a few very large barbel are present, and there's a match report on here today where they had a few roach/dace etc. I suspect it would be much better with some water on, just like everywhere else.

Re: Aggressive behaviour at StubbsI've been advised on various forums not to fish Cleeve Prior, because of gypos/undesirables. I assume that this is the same crowd.
