you wont need your match gear. A rod (or two), rucksack with all your bits in it. landing net etc, etc.
If you fish Knowle Sands 1&2 you'll need to travel light anyway, as the hill is a killer. Regarding tactics, you'll probably be better off moving around at the moment, with the river being low, and I almost certainly wouldnt bother fishing before 6pm in the heat.
Take pellets, meat and a few boilies, or even caster and hemp if you prefer. I've got a video blog, and a few of my vids are actually at Knowle Sands.
