Re: Northwood, Bewdley. there are some big fish at Northwood if you can catch the venue at the right time. The peg above the bridge is very good, but fished heavily, sadly a lot of idiots leave litter and rubbish there too. The pegs upstream can also fish well - but with the low water we have at the moment, be very difficult in the daytime. Re: Rubbish left on bank Happens everywhere on BAA waters. I've fished other club waters, and litter on those is far less of a problem. My mate walked the Northwood stretch last week and came back with sackfuls of other peoples rubbish. The BAA ticket is a bargain for £40, and that's why every man and his dog has one. If it was up to me, I would double the price of a ticket, this might deter the angling underclass that fish BAA stretches. The BAA is the biggest club around, but also the cheapest. Kinver Freeliners, Lymm AA, BMAA, DRAC to name a few others - all more expensive than the BAA, all have less litter. True, you might lose a few anglers, but even at £80, with the amount of water available, it would still be a bargain. Posted on July 03, 2015 at 3:51 PM
