Over 70lb of fish from the Top 6 anglers is a great result and your mention of the species caught is really useful information for us pleasure anglers to give consideration to giving it a go ourselves!
This kind of feedback is what prompted me to post my message about the Clubs that do not report back on the waters that they book for contests.
To you and the other clubs that DO give the feedback then I personally thank you.
I really do appreciate the positive and the negative feedback that I have read about the catches made or the need for bank side clearance or difficulty encountered in getting to a venue or pegs as it will make me decide on where to fish!

Hello fellow dAnglers,
Back in early September there was a post on this Forum by Rivernovice asking to “sign a petition”,
Well I did, as have several others that replied but I see that the post was seen by over 600 anglers.
Now I do not know what the current BAA Membership is but would it not be possible for our Chairman to sign on behalf of ALL of us to try and get this petition in front of the Government, because polluted waterways will be the death of our fishing!

Have you read the monthly Upper Severn Fishing Reports that are a brilliant update on the Where to Fish venues and what has been caught up there! They appear in the announcements, but I think that it should be put into the fishing chat forum as well!
Well done to the people involved,
it would be great if this could be emulated across our fisheries, that is why I also put a post in the Match Fishing Forum asking the Club Secretaries to give feedback on
where they had their contest
How many fished
How many weighed in
The successful methods and photos of the winning catch
It can only make things more aware to the rest of us dAnglers

In looking at the Match Fishing Forum I have seen that there have been 147 Topics raised that have generated 297 replies that go back several years!
Looking at the Waters Booked for Contests this October 2020 there are 53 Venues that have been booked!!
What would be really useful for “Us Non-Matchmen” to know is how are these venues fishing when put to the test in a contest, therefore can the Secretary from the Clubs booking these waters feedback as some clubs currently do, with the following details
1) How many fished
2) How many weighed in, with the weights
3) The successful methods
4) What was caught
5) A photo of the winning catch?

In perusing the Where to Fish section and when referring to the available Images across all of the BAA fisheries I have discovered that we are in need of images at the following venues
River Avon: Evesham & Swifts Water, Wood Norton and Chadbury Meadows.
River Mease for both Harlaston and Netherseal.
River Severn: Ribbesford.
River Teme: Eastham Bridge, Puddleford, Doddenham, Leigh & Ox Bow Lake.
Canals: Fazeley Canal Sections 1 & 2
Trent & Mersey Canal: Alrewas and Fradley
So if you are going to be fishing at any of these venues and you are able to take photos and send them to the BAA for uploading and updating our website
