Mini 20 AC Wick 11/11/17

1. M. Lacey 2lb
2. A. Lacey 1lb 1oz
3. D. Evans 5oz
4. S. Knight 4oz

Another tough Avon match. All 11 pegs on the upper straight section. It was only in the last hour that a few small roach and perch decided to have go.....and it was only a few. Never seen the water this clear here before. Even after rain overnight and during most of the morning it made no difference. Hoping for better at Stourport in December.

Re: Cradley Heath Labour AC club match at Pershore 24/09/17

We were on this water Sat 23rd Sept (R/B) Mini AC and had the following weights.

1. 13lb 4oz Mick Lacey
2. 11lb 4oz Andy Lacey
3. 6lb 9oz Mark Imrie
4. 3lb 15oz Dennis Evans

Same species caught, mostly from the pegs in the spinney (2nd meadow)
Did you peg the left bank Ollie? Any good that section?

Re: Barton

Fished Barton about 10 days ago. Like most of the Avon the water clarity is the biggest problem. We only got a decent spell when the light had faded. Caught plenty of small chub, skimmers and roach between around 8pm - 9.30. Before then there were some very big perch and a pike on the move. Its popular with the predator anglers and I can see why.

Re: Mini 20 AC Arley 4,5,6 15/07/17

Very few red fins caught David. I personally had a pike loitering around my keep net which is unusual for that part of the Severn in my experience. Also saw what I think was an otter going about its business in the margins. Neither good for sport of course.

Mini 20 AC Arley 4,5,6 15/07/17

1. J. Browning 9lb 12oz
2. S. Mathews 6lb 13oz
3. M. Stewart 6Lb
4. R. Washbrook 4lb 6oz

The faster, deeper water around the island was the better area.
A couple of decent 3lb plus chub were caught.
One or two lost good fish and the only barbel that was caught were around half pound.
