Mini 20 AC Salford Priors 24/10/15

1st S Knight 10lb 2oz (2 x barbel)
2nd A Lacey 3lb 6oz
3rd M Lacey 1lb 2oz (River Arrow mouth)
4th Rikki Richards 14oz

Gin clear river but plenty of rain on the day. Lots of small dace, roach, chublets. Winner was from meadow 2 towards the end of the section on a feeder. The final access track over the field is in a shocking state, great care needed when driving across.

Re: Fladbury (below bridge)

Yes it was. We have found that the bigger fish tend to be found further down towards the end of BAA fishing.
We have caught bream amd chub also on meat. Tend to start on maggot/caster and switch as the light starts to fade.

Re: Fladbury (below bridge)

Returned to Fladbury a week later and this time it was the turn of my mate Ian king to catch the fish of the day.
Luncheon meat again, with a grounbait feeder accounted for this fine 9lb 12oz barbel.
Fishing was best as the light started to fade. You can park behind your peg as well.

Fladbury (below bridge)

Fished 3-9pm Thurs 6th August and it was slow going on the float. Switched to meat on a straight lead and caught a PB barbel 9lb 9oz.
Two young lads pole fishing had some decent sport on hemp. After they left I weighed and photographed a barbel for an angler who only fished for 2 hours in the same peg. He caught 2 lovely fish, the biggest went 10lb 8oz caught on boillie.
