Thanks to all that administer, peg out, weigh in etc. Your efforts are much appreciated.
I've been booked elsewhere since Nordley (trying to forget), but able to fish this one.
Please add me to the list (Mork), plus my mate SteveT (BAA member re-applying for login)!

Many thanks - tight lines!

Thanks to the people that gave me venue advice on my fishing chat thread.
I lost enough fish to have won the match (thieving pike) and ended up 2nd out of 9 people on a hard match, gin clear, downstream wind and the top pegs didn't produce the elusive chub.

Thanks Bin
You may be correct but a change of rule on the day in the tent would be totally unacceptable, giving no chance for people to prepare with chest waders & platform. They'd need to communicate a week beforehand otherwise few people would turn up with equipment that they ordinarily wouldn't be able to take advantage of under 'normal' rules.
Most of the 86 other anglers wouldn't have even seen James on the platform and James was back on the bank before the scales arrived.
If what James did was legit, I wonder why non of the 80 x 3 competitors or Richard Tyler or the 3400 people that have viewed the video responded quoting the wading rules applicable on the day?
Do you know any competitors of the festival that you could ask so they can confirm if a change of rules was communicated and what that change actually was?
I could understand a deviation of rules being able to wade more than 1m when so shallow whilst still observing the knee deep safety rule else they could have fished from the other side!
Cheers

Thanks Bin.
I'm sure that you are right. Would any of the rules you quoted allow this please?

James wading 6m from the bank to waist deep!
Tried the festival & hampton ferry websites, tried emailing - no good!

Thanks Bin
Apologies for any misunderstanding but I'm asking a much much more simple question and don't want you to write a list of the individual rules. I simply would like to know what the set of rules are called and where can I find them please?
For example, you could state the name and show a link for BAA match rules, or NFA rules, the national, international match rules etc.
What is the set of rules used for the 2 individual matches at the Evesham festival weekend please? What are they called and where can anglers find a copy (before entering the qualifiers)?
