Re: Stacklands gate padlocked

Only drive on the track to the parking area by the hut, not across the field and not to the banks.

As it is. The river is as low as it was during the 2018 heatwave. Thankfully we haven’t had the heat experienced then so the water temperature is still safe for fishing, not that there are any salmon in the river!

Re: Where will you be heading tomorrow?

Stacklands is fine. I’ll see you there. The gate remains locked however.

River Wye new Salmon fishing by laws

New bylaws were released today in relation to Salmon angling on the Wye. The existing laws remain in place, catch and release, no bait fishing (worm or prawn) etc. The new laws relate to hooks, namely no trebles on any lures and barbless hooks. Please see attached files.
