Re: A great way to lose waters!

Very sad this. Similarly, to the delightful person that saw fit to use Stacklands as a toilet last week, please don’t. In 35 years of fishing I’ve never needed to have a poo on the bank, I tend to use the loo before I go fishing for the day and wait until I get home. If you really think you can’t wait, take a spade with you and dig a hole rather than leaving shitty paper all over the bank. Cheers.

Re: Stacklands new course season

No mate. Blanked. I’ll take that though for 15lb+ Barbel on the Trent this weekend!

Re: Stacklands new course season

A Quick update.

The lock is now off the gate. Please keep to the track and park in the allocated area. Dont drive to the riverbank.

Really good to meet Rob on the bank yesterday. River still high but fishing.

Re: Stacklands new course season

All.

I've just received a text from the land owner at Stacklands informing me that the gate is locked due to the field being waterlogged. The river is pretty much out of action anyway, I have asked Mr Williams to open the gate as soon as is possible.

Re: Stacklands new course season

Expect a decent amount of water on by Sunday.

The field will be drenched. Don't drive up to the car park unless you've got a 4x4 as it will get stuck.

Watch the banks they will be really slippy.
